Since my website crashed several weeks ago I have been wanting to re-post my images from the various trips I had taken to Paris between 2010 and 2011. An email exchange with a fellow photographer today has motivated me to finally sit down and make it happen. There are quite a lot of images in this post but it is a combination of what was previously seven different posts, so thanks for your forbearance with me.
Returned to the Lonaconing Silk Mill this past weekend. On my first visit, back in August, I focused on capturing the broader perspective of this amazing place. On this visit, I spent more time focusing on the smaller details. Thanks as always to Tony Sweet for setting this up.

Somehow over the last month my website crashed and I have been unable to recover from the crash, so as you can see I am having to start fresh. There are still issues with the site but at least I am back up and running. I will start by re-posting my images from the Lonaconing Silk Mill, a place I will be visiting again on December 17th.
Re-posting the senior portraits I took of our friend’s daughter Laura Blaylock. In my original post I shared the story of how I told Laura that it seemed like she was four, then I blinked and she was 17 (in fact, in just three short months she will be 18). Her response to me? Stop blinking. Jenni and I love Laura dearly so this was definitely a labor of love.
